Physical Therapist job in Memphis Tennessee.

    • Physical Therapist Job Overview :

  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants temporary licensees students and support staff as needed following state licensure requirements and professional standards.
  • Ensure adherence to department and patient treatment schedules timely clinical and billing documentation requirements and attendance at work-related meetings.
  • Attend and contribute to patient care staffing conferences and other related meetings.
  • Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen based on the needs and capabilities of each patient.

    • Physical Therapist Job Qualifications :

  • Active PT license in Tennessee

    • Must have a Masters degree in Physical Therapy or a Masters degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy - OR - have a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.

    The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.

    Must have a valid Drivers license independent transportation to and from the patients residence.

    Must have one or more years of experience.
