Certified Coding Coordinator

A company is looking for a Coordinator of Professional Coding Quality and Education. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the flow of medical record coded information for billing and reimbursement Ensure the completeness, accuracy, quality, and timely submission of medical data and documentation Assess, design, and evaluate educational programs to improve documentation practices Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field or five years of coding experience may be considered Additional specialty coding certification or two years of specialty coding experience required Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding systems Certification in at least one coding credential (e.g., RHIT, CPC, CCS)
