Atlanta Mammography Technologist Job Details Location : Atlanta, GA 30342 (Southeast U.S. healthcare jobs) Assignment Type : Travel, On-Site Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : February 28, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 8-hour days, Monday-Friday (8 : 00am-4 : 30pm) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $2270 - $2330 Holiday Coverage : Must be available for 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) Mammography Technologist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist Current ARRT Mammography certification (required for all U.S. mammography jobs) Active BLS certification Experience with Hologic mammography machines strongly preferred At least 1 completed travel healthcare assignment Proven ability to excel in a high-volume clinical setting (100 patients / day) No local candidates within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA (targeting travel healthcare professionals) Mammography Technologist Responsibilities Perform high-quality digital mammograms and breast imaging procedures Assist with additional imaging services, including breast ultrasound, bone density scans, and breast biopsy procedures Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy clinical environment Maintain accurate imaging records and adhere to all safety protocols Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Experience the best of Atlanta's 30342 area-welcoming neighborhoods, top-rated dining, and easy access to parks and cultural attractions-while advancing your career in a leading healthcare job.
