Job Summary

The Department of Criminal Justice at The University of North Georgia invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at the Dahlonega campus. The workload may require travel across campuses and teaching on distance learning platforms. University of North Georgia is accepting applications for this position to support its growing Ph.D. program in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Teach two (2) graduate and two (2) undergraduate Criminal Justice courses per semester. Teaching schedule may include assignments in the classroom or on-line.
• Teach four courses per semester.
• Maintain an active research agenda to produce scholarly publications.
• Advise Ph.D. candidates enrolled in Ph.D. Program in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Intelligence.
• Serve on University, College, and Departmental Committees.
