Block booking allowed. Candidates must be located within 50 miles to be considered. The department focuses on neuro rehabilitation. This role involves working with a variety of patient conditions, including spinal injuries and brain injuries. The unit has a total of 28 beds. Patient ratios are 1 : 6 on day shifts and 1 : 8 on night shifts. Common equipment used includes tube feeders, ventilators, trach care tools, Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, negative pressure wound therapy, and suction devices. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner and ITW. Ideal candidates will be compassionate and have effective communication skills. Candidates should also be willing to educate patients and their families. Self-learners are preferred. Uniform attire includes galaxy blue scrubs.
