Your Opportunity : Be part of our amazing OR team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, recognized as the largest hospital in Wisconsin with a 24 / 7 heart-care team. Your role is crucial in ensuring optimal patient care during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
Utilize aseptic surgical techniques and prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.Maintain a clean and efficient operating room environment to ensure patient safety.Set up, transport, and manage various equipment and essential surgical supplies.Assist with patient positioning and function as a Second Assistant as needed.Demonstrate knowledge of procedures and equipment used in the operating room.Qualifications :
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.No prior experience required!Physical Requirements :
Ability to handle a fast-paced and stressful environment.Lift, carry, and push / pull various weights safely.Exposure to potential hazards common in surgical settings.Must have functional sight and hearing, and be able to wear necessary personal protective equipment.If you're ready to make a difference in the operating room and advance your career, we encourage you to apply!
