Scheduler, Orthopedic Surgery

A company is looking for a Scheduler for Orthopedic Surgery in a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities Schedule all patient surgical procedures for multiple orthopedic surgeons at affiliated hospitals and surgical centers Communicate with hospitals, surgical centers, and patients to ensure surgical optimization and clearances Utilize EMR for obtaining surgical booking information and scheduling pre-post operative appointments Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 2 years of experience in a Surgical Coordinating role in a busy multiple physician practice Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable Experience with word processing and computer systems Bilingual in English / Spanish is preferred
