• Support the implementation of systems engineering on active NNS programs across the systems lifecycle including requirements development and management, verification and validation, and systems architecting.
• Support the development and refinement of systems engineering processes, frameworks, and best practices to be applied on future programs.
• Collaborate with discipline engineering teams, program management, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer needs.
• Drive the adoption and execution of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies across programs to enhance efficiency and decision making. Clearance

• Bachelors in a related field.
• Seeking an early career Systems Engineer to support the development and implementation of Systems Engineering on submarine, carrier and facility programs at Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS).
• The candidate will contribute to existing programs as well as develop new processes and systems engineering capabilities for future programs Prefer
• Exposure to implementing systems engineering principles, methods and lifecycle processes on naval, defense or aerospace programs.
• Knowledge of digital engineering practices, data integration and model management processes.
