Position Summary
The Director II is responsible for selling company products and services to existing accounts through sales managers and teams.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure the attainment of sales goals through the regular evaluation of business partner relationships, new business opportunities, and optimization of present sales and service levels
- Manage team to ensure maximum sales and profits from assigned accounts
- Coach, direct, and counsel team on overall performance; define expectations and monitor progress
- Reinforce communication of promotions and programs to the sales team
- Attract, retain and motivate team to maintain an engaging work environment and to ensure sound policies and procedures are adhered to
- Build and develop a high performing sales team
- Provide summary of sales activity to relevant stakeholders
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for development, training, and performance improvement
- Identify and monitor market activity and business intelligence
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceSeven years of relevant experienceAble to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as neededMust possess a valid driver license and secure and maintain auto‑liability insurance by state lawsCritical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekendsPreferred Qualifications
Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applications softwarePresentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions with all levels of managementInterpersonal skills necessary to lead a team and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and relevant stakeholdersKnowledge of applicable state regulations and adult beverage market dynamicsDemonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and lead colleagues and direct reports by example in an intense and fast‑paced business environmentMust require little direction or supervision; goal‑oriented, focused, and assertiveAbility to manage multiple projects / priorities on tight deadlines and maintain high level of quality outputStrong analytical, leadership and verbal / written communication skillsAbility to understand and manage budgets, profitability, and expensesWhat We Offer
