Job Summary : The Fabrication Manager oversees daily operations and drives strategic initiatives to improve on-time delivery, cost efficiency, safety, quality, and overall productivity through continuous improvement practices. As a Fabrication Manager, You Will : Manage and support teams across various fabrication functions, ensuring alignment with production goals Develop and implement strategies that enhance delivery performance, cost control, safety, quality, and overall productivity Assess staffing needs, build team capabilities, and conduct performance evaluations Partner with cross-functional teams to support new or revised statements of work, ensuring smooth communication and timely fabrication of parts and assemblies Use process management and analytical skills to create innovative solutions and remove roadblocks in the fabrication process Facilitate team meetings, provide training, and collaborate with internal groups and external customers on planning, issue resolution, and process improvements Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports Provide oversight, guidance, and approval on technical processes, methods, and products Lead, develop, and motivate employees to support a high-performance culture Skills and Requirements : 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Aviation, or Machining within a manufacturing environment 5+ years of experience leading teams in formal and / or informal leadership roles Experience presenting to executive leadership and reporting department production status to senior management Budget responsibility or experience reviewing department P&L and monitoring production metrics Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups such as Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Machining Ability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, or alternative work-week schedules Prior SAP experience and / or military leadership experience Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, including supervision of union employees and exposure to aircraft maintenance or machining operations Broad, versatile experience across manufacturing and machining environments Education : Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of leadership experience in Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Chemical / Metallic Finishing, Assembly, or Machining Benefits : Medical Insurance (Choice of PPO plans) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance 401(K) Retirement Plan (Typically with employer match) Tuition Reimbursement Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacation and sick leave Paid Holidays Salary Range : $83K-$118K Ask for : Hersha Dwyer Job Id : 25538 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
