Job Summary

At the Virginia BBQ and Pizza Company, we offer our guests a variety of quick service food options. We strive assemble our pizzas in a quick and efficient manner to ensure guest satisfaction. As large-scale resort food and beverage establishment, we require vibrant and energetic employees who always have the guest experience at the front of their mind. The Pizza Artist is responsible for cooking duties including food preparation and cleaning / maintenance of all food prep areas. Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen is required and must be able to uphold safety and sanitation policies.

Required

Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Basic kitchen and food handling skills
Must be at least 16 years of age

Preferred

Prior experience working in a pizza parlor

Varies, including morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Varies, depending on business demands and project loads

Core Responsibilities

Properly and safely prepare and / or cooks quality food items in an efficient manner

Assure food is stored at the safe temperatures and labeled correctly

Maintain cleanliness and organization in food prep and cooking areas

Clean and sanitize work area and food preparation equipment

Stock freezers and coolers

Provide quality food and great customer service

Uphold standards of conduct, cleanliness, and food quality and safety

Safely use and maintain cooking utensils and equipment

Other duties as assigned by management
