Salary Range : $130,000 – $140,000 (based on experience; potential up to $145,000 for 10+ years of relevant experience)

Overview :

A leading healthcare system is seeking a Director of Emergency Services to oversee the daily operations, growth, and quality of care in a high-volume Emergency Department (ED). This is a key leadership role within a 300+ bed acute care hospital, responsible for a 28-bed Emergency Room with an average daily volume of 130–150 patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily operations and patient care delivery in the Emergency Department
• Implement quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
• Manage staff performance, engagement, and retention for approximately 60 FTEs
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold standards of care
• Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives
• Develop and evaluate departmental goals, policies, and procedures
• Drive clinical excellence, safety, and staff development
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance
