Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 34 hours per week Shift : 12 hours Employment Type : Local Contract Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PICU RN) Overview : We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric ICU RN to provide exceptional care to critically ill children. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, emotional resilience, and a commitment to family-centered care in a high-acuity environment. Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage life-support equipment Provide education and emotional support to patients' families Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and infection control standards Requirements : Active RN license in good standing Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience Current BLS and PALS certifications Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
