Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
Experience
At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.
Certification and Licensure
Current RN license valid in the state or through compact licensure. Graduate nurses must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Mental and Physical Requirements
This position requires considerable mental focus and physical activity including lifting up to 35 lbs., standing, walking, and various movements such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Working Conditions
Frequent exposure to infectious and communicable diseases through blood and bodily fluids. Occasional encounters with hostile individuals may occur.
