The major duties and responsibilities of the Scheduler shall be as follows :

  • Support the Project management staff with planning, scheduling and coordination of traction power and AC power contracts.
  • Update data in the Procore system through direct input of contract related data or up-loading data files.
  • Assist in the preparation of, evaluation and provide critical analysis of project CPM schedules, including, but not limited to, the review of Contractor project baseline schedules, monthly progress schedules, weekly look-ahead schedules, time impact analysis, risk analysis, and tracking schedule conformance.
  • Assist in the monitoring of project activities, claims and change orders, progress reporting, payments, and other contract administration functions.
  • Perform other project related duties as assigned by the Project Manager and / or Task Manager.

Position Requirements

Background and Experience Required

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in construction and / or transportation projects and the ability to evaluate and develop complex schedules; a minimum of two (2) years out of five shall be in the transportation industry.
  • In lieu of degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in construction project scheduling of varying complexities including integrated master schedules.
  • Familiarity with industry construction standards.
  • Skilled with Microsoft 365© Suite of applications and Primavera 6 (P6).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Procore.
  • Certification as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) per AACE International or a
  • Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) per PMI.
