Compensation : $71,000k - $75,000k per year based on experience, degrees and certificates.

What You'll Do :

• Fosters a safety culture and the implementation of safety policies and training in compliance with the company safety program and DOT regulations to eliminate work-related injuries.
• Coordinates with Corp Logistics and Plant Transportation Manager to report and investigate fleet driver accidents and injuries on a timely basis.
• Coordinates with Corp Logistics and Plant Transportation Manager in order to attain delivery, cost and quality of service objectives.
• Responsible for daily fleet dispatch management.
• Oversight and coordination of daily fleet deliveries and the pick-up of returned merchandise.
• Responsible for driver / customer issues and communication regarding delivery delays.
• Identifies and recommends procedures designed to improve operations.
• Fosters positive working relationships and responds proactively to driver concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends in the field; and attends appropriate training programs to remain current on delivery, DOT, health / safety and related issues.
