Equipment Operator

Waste Connections is currently hiring an Equipment Operator to join our team at the White Oak Landfill in Monroe, LA . In this role, you'll be operating heavy machinery such as trackhoes, compactors, off-road dump trucks, and tractors. Other responsibilities include acting as a spotter, maintaining cleanliness around the facility, pulling and compacting trash, and hauling dirt. This job requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Work Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 6 : 45 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays from 7 : 00 a.m. to 12 : 00 p.m.

Pay :

$20 to $23 per hour (depending on experience).

Experience operating dozers and trackhoes preferred

Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a strong advantage
