General Surgery skills required

Adult Surgery skills required

Pediatric Surgery skills preferred

Description :

The role involves performing general surgical procedures.

Surgeons will engage in both adult and pediatric surgeries, with a focus on various required and preferred procedures.

Key responsibilities include laparoscopic surgeries, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties.

Candidates should have capabilities in head and neck surgeries, chest wall procedures, and breast surgeries.

Obstetric and gynecologic surgical skills are preferred, including cesarean sections and hysterectomies.

Liver surgery, GI endoscopy, and colonoscopy are also essential components of the position.

Minor orthopedic and hand surgery skills are preferred, as well as experience with chest tube and central line insertions.

Vascular surgery skills are also valued, including aneurysm repairs and arterial bypass procedures.

Surgeons trained in pediatric surgery should have experience with abdominal wall defects and related conditions.

Candidates should be able to complete PDA ligations and possess general competencies required for various surgical procedures.
