Responsibilities

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment of exempt and non-exempt staff including but not limited to sourcing & resume review, candidate screening via phone/virtual interview, administration of preemployment assessments, drafting and presenting offers, pre-employment background checks.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements for open positions and refine ideal candidate profiles for all Tyndale positions, niche IT and technical roles (e.g., software development/engineers, systems/data analysts, AI/ML, infrastructure, and other specialized technology positions) requiring deep sourcing and market research.
  • Establish a pro-active recruiting strategy and sourcing plans to attract diverse and high-quality candidates and ensure adequate inbound applicant flow for all assigned open positions.
  • Conduct weekly status update meetings with Hiring Managers and TA Manager to communicate feedback on candidate interviews, current recruiting activity and progress/barriers.
  • Continuously monitor recruiting metrics against open requisitions to determine alternate recruitment avenues driving hiring initiatives and meeting/exceeding requirements.
  • Manage recruitment workflow and candidate activity within the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and maintain ongoing tracking of recruiting activity.
  • Build and maintain quality candidate pipelines for key positions and proactively build networks around projected headcount.
  • Market the Tyndale brand by establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation, both internally and externally.
  • Build effective relationships with local technical schools and colleges/universities and attend recruitment marketing events as needed.
  • Build trust, confidence, and credibility with HR/TA team, hiring managers across the organization, and Tyndale's candidates by working with integrity as well as representing Company policies and core values.
  • Research and stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices while managing recruitment process in accordance with federal, state and local regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or other relevant degree required;
  • 3+ years' full cycle recruitment experience, 2+ year's corporate, in-house recruiting experience required; Previous experience in IT/Technical or Manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a consultative partner to hiring managers, influencing hiring strategies for hard-to-fill and technical roles.
  • Knowledge of affirmative action, employment law, and EEO guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process required.
  • Driven to successful outcomes, adaptive in times of change, and innovative in face of roadblocks via strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency within MS Office, Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS knowledge a plus), and pre-hire assessment tools.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to collaborate well across the organization and externally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and relationships easily with hard-to-reach passive candidates and with hiring managers.
  • High level of initiative, self-motivation, and sense of urgency with the ability to be effective independently and as part of a team.

  • Career Growth & Development: Training/certification/tuition reimbursement programs and demonstrated paths for knowledge share and internal promotion opportunity.
