Job descriptionMonday to Friday schedule, with 2-3 nights out per week on average Enjoy your weekends off! Deliver within a 300-mile radius from Greensboro, NC Primarily deliver building materials such as dry wall, lumber, etc. to retail and non-retail locations Some deliveries will be palletized Pre-loaded trailers : Start your day with trailers ready to go No touch freight : only live unloads Strapping required for each load (straps provided) Tarping in inclement weather only (additional $10 per stop if required) Sleeper tractors for overnight stays Hard hats and vests provided (must always be worn when out of the truck on property) Steel toe shoes required (driver must purchase) Paid time off including 8 paid holidays Health Insurance : Medical, dental, vision and hearing coverage starting as low as $38.25 / week (individual) and $101.10 / week (family) after 30 days Rider policy for legally married spouses Profit Sharing : Monthly direct deposits into your retirement account Referral rewards : Cash bonuses for referrals Career Growth : Opportunities for local, regional, and leadership roles within Averitt Must live within a 100-mile radius Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years, including at least 1 month of flatbed and / or curtain-side trailer experience Drivers must have a Class A CDL Must be 21 years of age No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years No convictions for DUI or DWI within the past 5 years No suspensions or revocations for a moving violation within the past 5 years No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with a fatality) No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years Load freight -lift requirement : 80 lbs Unload freight - lift requirement : 80 lbs Move freight - force requirement : 54 lbs Lift and move side kits -lift requirements : 46 lbs Lift tarp - lift requirement : 110 lbs Apply and remove tarp(s) on load Secure load with chains and hardware -lift requirements : 80 lbs Climb onto and off of the flatbed trailer / load Count freight Complete fuel tickets Complete delivery receipt Hook / Unhook trailer - force requirement : 90 lbs Perform pre-trip inspections Drive Extensive travel - ability to sit upright for extended periods of time Regular predictable attendance

Competitive Pay
- Average $1,475 per week / $76,700 per year
- Starting pay : $0.60 cpm
- Average miles : 1,800 miles
- Stop pay : $25 per stop (average 8 stops per week, with each stop averaging 30 minutes)
- Additional pay : Detention and breakdown pay available
- Annual pay increase on your contract anniversary
