Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Integrate with transferee organization's project management.
  • Plans, schedules, organizes, and delegates project activities. Sets goals, establishes priorities, manages project resources, reviews progress and results.
  • Lead teams, negotiate for resources and lead projects to a successful and timely completion.
  • Meeting coordination - scheduling, taking meeting minutes, leading discussion when necessary.
  • Collect, organize, and escalate project issues and risks.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance of projects by collaborating with the applicable groups.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 20+ years of Project / Program Management experience.
  • Track record of successful product transfers / new product integrations.
  • PMP Certification (a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Good interpersonal skills : conflict resolution, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint).
  • Understanding of the business, being agile and applying expertise in communication and working with diverse groups of people and skill sets.
  • Project scheduling skills and use of PM software (like MS Project, and Project Server).
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex, multi-project environments and be able to quickly diagnose potential risks and issues.
  • Laser / laser safety experience a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment in a regulated industry (medical device preferred)
  • Experience with manufacturing projects.
  • Position requires good logic and reasoning ability.
  • Ability to define problems and find logical solutions.
  • Must evaluate and resolve daily issues by exercising sound judgement.
