Our client, a publicly traded energy leader, has an urgent need for an experienced Credit Analyst with expertise that includes knowledge of natural gas collection, processing, procedures, storage, and additional pipeline-related practices within the industry. This is a three-month on site contract for a strong business analyst with five-plus years of experience in finance and accounting, a hands-on attitude, and leadership ability. Your knowledge of accounting and finance principles, natural gas industry experience, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented culture will be keys to success in this role.
What You’ll Do :
- Manage daily projects and operations within the credit department, including issuance of credit letters and guarantees that adhere to company policies.
- Develop cordial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and conduct reviews of credit limits, setting up new counterparties, monitoring credit exposures and risks, and analyses of the scope and details of complex contracts.
- Interpret operational data, make recommendations, and support commercial and marketing activities.
- Respond to customer inquiries, collaborate internally, and if needed, train and mentor others.
- Manage accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for the credit department.
What You’ll Bring :
Five or more years in accounting and finance, with a focus on the O&G / natural gas industry.Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, or data analysis, with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and ratio analysis.Experience with credit and risk assessment tools, for example, Paragon, Experian, S&P IQ, Moody’s, D&B, or other applicable resources.Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.Power BI expertise is highly desirable.Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.If this role aligns with your experience and your goals, please apply online now for our careful consideration.
