Ryder is immediately hiring permanent full-time Skilled Labor, Construction and Nail Maintenance Professionals to ensure excellent craftsmanship at our manufacturing facility in Lakewood, WA.

Warehouse, Manufacturing, Painting and Construction positions pay Weekly.

Hourly Pay : $20.00

Schedule : First Shift Monday - Thursday 4 : 00am - 2 : 30pm

We want the right Manufacturing Employee to join us at Ryder and work with State of the Art Equipment in the Safest Warehouse Environment.

Products Being Handled : Pallets

Equipment : Nail Gun, and other Hand Tools

Various construction, building, carpentry, manufacturing, Painter, warehouse, Skilled and Semi-Skilled Labor roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Pallet Repair

Safely and securely repair pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner that meets company safety standards

Manually lift 75 lb pallets from a stack to a repair table

Complete minor repairs such as cutting loose nails or securing loose components

Operate a hammer, grinder, and a saw to remove existing nails and use a 25 lb nail gun to nail together the components

Pallet must meet and pass CHEP's quality control audit

Safety, Sanitation, Security

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area

Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse

Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety

Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards

Must wear all safety equipment while repairing pallets

Performs other duties as assigned
