Manufacturing Line Operator — Morehead City / Newport, NC

Step into a production role where you keep lines moving, parts precise, and quality front and center. You’ll operate equipment, assemble stocked components, and verify parts meet specifications to deliver dependable results for our customers.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay : $14.00 per hour
  • Hours : Full-time, 8–10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday
  • Shift Options : First shift 6 : 00am–4 : 30PM; Second shift 3 : 30pm–2 : 00AM

A Day in the Role

After clock-in, you’ll review the production schedule, set up your station, and complete safety checks. Throughout the day, you’ll run machinery, assemble items from stock, and perform in-process inspections. You’ll keep your area tidy, communicate with teammates to hit targets, and alert a supervisor quickly if a machine or safety issue arises.

Core Responsibilities

  • Run and observe production equipment to maintain steady throughput.
  • Conduct product inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Assemble and package products as workflow requires.
  • Keep workspaces clean, organized, and compliant with safety practices.
  • Work closely with your team to meet daily output and deadlines.
  • Escalate equipment issues or safety hazards immediately.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, PPE usage, and procedures.

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production exposure is helpful.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment while juggling priorities.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Curious, coachable, and open to learning new processes and tech.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

    • (Background Check Required) Must have a background free of weapon or larceny convictions and be able to pass a toxicology test.
