Travel EP Tech / EP Lab Tech - $2,406 per week in Bryan, TX

Job Title : EP Technologist Profession : Electrophysiology Lab Specialty : Electrophysiology Duration : 12 months Shift : Monday to Friday Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Yes Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS Must-Have : Candidate must scrub ablations and LAAO cases as well as devices. Description : Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. Candidates will float between two campuses. The home base will be at the designated campus location. Unit requires EP experience. There are 3 labs / suites at one campus and 2 at the other. On average, 6 cases are performed per day across both campuses. Required to float across both campuses and EP lab. Common diagnoses / types of patients include LHC, RHC, IVC filter, PPM, ICD, EP, Peripheral angio / PCI, cerebral angio, aneurysm coiling, stroke thrombectomy, EVAR, and carotid endarterectomy. Job duties include scrubbing and monitoring during procedures. Experience in scrubbing is essential. The charting system is MEDITECH. The manager and charge nurse will be present. The shift will consist of approximately 10-11 days per month, including weekends. There will be a mandatory call requirement with 10-12 on-call shifts per month. The call response time is 30 minutes. Scrub color / dress code is navy blue. The cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. This role operates in an acute care setting.
