Drywall Carpenter

We are looking for a skilled Drywall Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of drywall installation, including framing, hanging, finishing, and repairs. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces according to specifications and layouts.
  

• Frame walls, soffits, and ceilings using metal or wood studs.
  

• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish.
  

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  

• Repair or replace damaged drywall sections as needed.
  

• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to company and OSHA safety standards.
  

RequirementsRequirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a drywall carpenter or finisher in commercial construction.
  

• Strong understanding of drywall installation techniques, framing, and finishing processes.
  

• Ability to read and follow blueprints and layout drawings.
  

• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.
  

• Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and work at heights when required.
  

• Reliable transportation and a valid Texas Driver’s License.
  

• Must be available to work 50+ hours per week and meet project deadlines.
