SR. Engineering Tech- 2D Pipe Checker (Maritime)

Insight Global is seeking a 2D Pipe Checker to join one of our clients in Marinette, WI. This is a 100% on-site role and relocation assistance is available. Work hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3pm. Day-to-day : - Checking diagrams and designs in 2D AutoCAD- Viewing SPECs in 2d AutoCAD and checking these drawings for NAVSEA compliance and to meet end customers' requirements The hourly rate for this role is between $30-$35hr. • Experience reviewing 2d drawings for completeness, design accuracy, operational integrity, conformance, specifications and industry standards - Proficient working in AutoCAD - 2d, 3d design- Ability to create 2D models of maritime piping systems from scratch using CAD software- Maritime industry experience : military ships or submersibles or commercial ships
