Responsibilities

Ascension St. John is looking for a Board Certified / Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our thriving Cardiovascular Service Line.

Position Highlights :

Existing care team of podiatry, cardiology, wound care, cardiothoracic, vascular, and general surgical specialties

Robust & renowned cardiovascular team in Tulsa with 17 cardiologists, 2 (soon to be 3) CVT surgeons, and a large supportive group of advanced practice providers. The overall team includes over 50 cardiology providers across NE Oklahoma.

Very competitive compensation and benefits package and ancillary support including dedicated vascular surgery advanced practice providers.

Access to angiogram suites in the heart cath lab and two hybrid operating rooms (one existing and one in build phase)

On site and state of the art clinic just minutes from the operating room and heart cath lab in one facility.

Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient vascular surgery services

Participates in quality improvement programs, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve quality of care provided to patients

Opportunity to participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

Physician MD / DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education :

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
