About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1.5 years of Pediatric experience

License : Active RN License

Certifications : PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Hematology / Oncology experience required

Must be willing to float to the Emergency Department to care for inpatient holds.

EPIC experience required.

APHON certification required.

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

Patient types will include Pediatric Hematology / Oncology, Med Surge, and all Pediatric specialties.

You may be asked to float across other units as needed.

Nurse-to-patient ratios will range from 1 : 2 to 1 : 4.

The unit has a total of 14 beds.

Travelers are required to work during winter holidays and may limit requests for time off during specified dates.

A performance evaluation or reference from a supervisory role within the past 2 years will be required.

Proof of taxable address is also necessary to verify the bill rate in accordance with local traveler policy.
