About the Role Caribou is looking for a versatile Content Strategist & Copywriter to help shape and scale our content and copy across channels—from product launches to social storytelling. If you're a storyteller, planner, and brand voice protector who loves turning customer insights into powerful, conversion-friendly content, this role is for you. In this role, you will own... Content Creation and Blog Management : Create editorial and social content that educates, entertains, and drives action, increasing Caribou's credibility, domain rankings, and content performance. Manage the editorial calendar and blog operations to ensure regular, high-quality posts. Collaborate with SEO consultants and tools to develop content that ranks well and simplifies complex topics like refinancing, credit, and budgeting into approachable reads. Marketing & Campaign Copy : Work with design and growth teams to craft email campaigns, landing pages, display ads, and in-product messages. Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand partnerships with tailored messaging. Social Media Support : Manage social media content that reflects Caribou's voice and values. Monitor trends and develop timely content that resonates with key personas. Content Guidelines & Brand Voice : Maintain and evolve Caribou's tone of voice and copywriting guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity across all customer touchpoints. Content Development : Research, write, and edit compelling long- and short-form content. Repurpose content across formats, such as turning a blog into a social series or lead magnet. Community Engagement : Support or oversee community management, build rapport with users, answer questions, and share useful content. This role can be based out of our Denver, CO office or remotely within states where Caribou operates, preferably in Phoenix, AZ; Denver, CO; or Chicago, IL. Occasional in-person meetings may be required. About You You are driven to achieve your goals. At Caribou, our core values are : Give a damn, Velocity, Make the assist. You have 5-7 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or editorial, ideally in fintech, consumer brands, or mission-driven startups. You have proven success writing for various channels, especially social, email, and web. Experience with content planning tools (e.g., Notion, Asana, Airtable) and using insights or data to inform content decisions is essential. Familiarity with SEO content strategy, personal finance, auto loans, or simplifying complex topics is preferred. A background in UX writing or product copy, and experience in regulated industries like finance, insurance, or healthcare, is a plus. How We Will Take Care of You Our compensation and benefits include competitive salary ($81k - $102k), a 6% target annual bonus, equity options, 401(k), generous paid time off, flexible time off, paid parental leave, wellness benefits, optional benefits, and up to $1,000 annually for professional development.
