Job Summary :

Working under the direction of the Information Technology Technical Manager, the Systems Administrator will configure, install, maintain, and support hardware, software, and IT infrastructure. This role ensures that servers, network segments, storage, databases, middleware, personal computers, mobile devices, and associated software work together efficiently. The Systems Administrator will conduct technical research, implement system upgrades and patches, manage change control, perform backups and recovery, respond to user-reported issues, and implement security measures to protect core infrastructure. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule (23 days on-site in NH) .

Key Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot technical issues, monitor systems, analyze performance, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Install software, catalog files, and perform backup and recovery functions.
• Provide support for complex computing platforms and shared technology environments.
• Identify technical requirements, assess risks to existing infrastructure, and support the development of the organizations technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with IT operations to evaluate, implement, and roll out infrastructure platforms, as well as transition application systems from development to production.
• Ensure IT infrastructure remains operational, secure, and properly maintained.
• Respond to system issues, including after-hours support as part of the on-call rotation.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and workflows.
