Senior Systems Engineer - Network - Top Secret clearance

This role supports a Navy customer in Dahlgren, VA. Job Description and Responsibilities : A Systems Engineer, also known as a lead systems analyst, network engineer, or software engineer, oversees the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to rollout and maintenance. These systems are often sophisticated and web-based. The engineer is responsible for integrating network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices. Typical duties include managing the development cycle of resilient software, hardware, and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Basic Requirements : 7 years of professional experience in systems engineering, with at least 6 years in LAN / WAN design and implementation using Cisco, Juniper, TCP / IP, and VoIP technologies, including routers, switches, fiber optics, firewalls, and cable plant design. Clearance : Top Secret clearance is required. US citizenship is mandatory. Education : Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. Certifications : Acceptable certifications include : CCSP, CCNA, CCNP Security, CompTIA SecurityX, GIAC certifications (GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, GSEC) Additional Details : This position is pending a contract award.
