• Preferred Schedule : 24 / 7 Call coverage (7a-7a)
• Worksite Setting : Hospital Northeastern California
• Scope of Work : Solo; General inpatient Newborn care Newborn resuscitation Surgical assisting preferred Suturing of minor lacerations Incision & drainage Ventilation management - establishing and maintaining airway, various modes of ventilation for up to 24hrs without pulmonary consultation Avg pediatric admissions per year 20-30 Locums will respond to in-house codes and be expected to provide backup for the ED Avg annual ED volume 13,500; 2% is trauma After-hours admissions go through ED and direct admits from local clinics ED transfers have option of 2 centers
