Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Indirect
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Indirect will lead and manage efforts to secure optimal sourcing opportunities with local and regional impacts. This role aims to deliver value, drive savings, increase efficiencies, assure supply, and mitigate supply chain risks. The Manager will act as a strategic partner who listens to understand business needs, plan and implement sourcing initiatives, and ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. The Manager, Strategic Sourcing Indirect is responsible for ensuring integration of the procurement / sourcing policy and utilizing a strategic sourcing process that includes but is not limited to a rigorous market / region analysis, supplier risk analysis, and baseline spend analysis, to generate options and document a strategic sourcing plan that may include RFP execution, negotiations with suppliers, contract execution and implementation, and monitoring of source recommendations. They will work closely with various functional stakeholder groups at the VP and SVP level, providing expertise in effective strategy development, spend management, analysis, and negotiation. This role requires someone with leadership experience, business savvy, and the ability to influence spend decisions. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret and operationalize sourcing strategies developed by senior leadership or category leads, ensuring consistent execution and measurable value delivery.

Physical Demands : Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and / or computer for extended periods of time. Travel : Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely.
Work Conditions : Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area.
