About The Position

Job Title : Travel RN - NICU Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : NICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Active RN License Certifications : BLS, NRP Must-Have : Candidates must have experience in NICU. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description : The position is for a Travel RN in the NICU department. The shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit has 84 beds and 160 staff members. Staff includes Charge Nurses, RNs, Unit Secretaries, and RRTs. Day shift and night shift positions are available. The patient ratios are 2 : 1 for NICU and 3 : 1 for NSCU. Equipment used includes Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, ECG from Philips, and GE. Experience with electronic documentation is required. Typical procedures performed include IV, Whole Body Cooling, Surgical Cases, PDA Ligations, High-Frequency Ventilation, and Chest Tubes. Ideal candidates will be team players with excellent communication skills. Support of Family Centered Care and Developmental Supportive Care is a must. Candidates with stable, reliable backgrounds will be prioritized. The unit promotes exceptional patient experience and family-centered care.
