Position Summary :

Seeking a Microbiology Technologist to perform diagnostic microbiology testing and support infection prevention efforts within a high-volume acute care laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform bacterial cultures organism identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing

Utilize both automated and manual microbiology methodologies

Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and ensure accurate documentation

Collaborate with infection control and clinical teams as needed

Ensure precision efficiency and adherence to regulatory and quality standards

Required Qualifications :

Active Florida MT or MLT license with microbiology experience

Minimum 1 year of acute care microbiology laboratory experience

No employment gaps exceeding 1 year
