American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Santa Rosa, California.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a valid CA license and Level II trauma experience for a night shift contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care hospital ICU
  • Level II trauma patient population
  • Night shifts (3x12 hours, 17 : 00-5 : 30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required within the hospital, to like units, and possibly to affiliate hospitals
  • Uses the Epic EMR system with proficiency required
  • No on-call requirement
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • RTO must be requested at the time of application; extensive RTO may affect consideration
  • Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
  • Royal blue or navy blue scrubs required
  • Returning travelers must have a 3-month separation from previous employment
  • Free parking is provided
  • Team members may be expected to float to sister facilities in the area
  • Training modules must be completed before start and annually
  • Housing options in the area may be limited

  • Active unencumbered CA RN license required at time of application
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a Level II trauma setting
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • References from a minimum of 2 supervisors covering at least 1 year of comparable specialty within the last 3 years
  • Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at a different pay rate
  • Pending licenses not accepted
