Job description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive iPaaS and EDI Specialist to maintain, support, and develop our Boomi integration platform, ensuring seamless data flows between internal and external systems. This role is essential in monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing integration processes, including those with retailers, 3PLs, toll manufacturers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with API / Web services and JSON flows in iPaaS, implementing new EDI flows and supporting automation within our ERP (Sage X3 v12). The ability to collaborate across departments like operations, master data, as well as with external partners, is key to success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Boomi iPaaS , API / Web services , and EDI integration .
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage X3 v12 preferred) , including developing automations and workflows.
  • Experience working with system integration between internal teams and external partners (retailers, suppliers, 3PLs).

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Ability to develop and support API, EDI , and JSON flows .
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

    Integration Management :

  • Oversee and maintain the Boomi iPaaS platform , ensuring efficient communication between systems (ERP, EDI, API).
  • Monitor all integration flows between internal systems and external partners, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate closely with customer service, logistics, procurement, master data teams, and external partners to ensure smooth data exchanges.

    • Development and Implementation :

  • Develop API / Web services / JSON flows within Boomi to support expanding system requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of new EDI flows to meet customer and supplier needs, ensuring compliance with EDI standards for big retailers, 3PL partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the development of automation within the ERP (Sage X3 v12) , working on similar development tasks and leveraging Sage X3's proprietary 4GL language.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with multiple teams to understand and address integration challenges, providing technical expertise and solutions.
  • Partner with external customers, suppliers, and logistics providers to streamline EDI transactions and system integrations.

    • Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and enhancement of integration processes within the organization.
  • Stay updated on best practices in system integration and make recommendations for improvements.
