At Catapult, we are currently supporting our member, All-Phase Power & Controls Inc., in their search for an Electrical Estimator.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, taking into account materials, labor, and overhead costs.

Review and analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.

Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project budgets and timelines.

Maintain a database of labor rates, material prices, and subcontractor quotes.

Provide support during the bidding process, including responding to requests for information (RFIs) and clarifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

5 or more years of related experience in the electrical construction industry.

5 or more years of proven experience in electrical estimating, in commercial, and industrial.

Complete understanding of design drawings, specs, proposals and other elements related to estimates for projects.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, materials, and industry practices on commercial / industrial projects.

Knowledge of the NEC, NFPA 70E and other related electrical codes and standards.

Proficient in estimation software (Accubid Anywhere, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and project team members.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
