Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Account Representative to provide financial support to clients under the direction of facility management. This position will primarily be responsible for working to assist clients by applying for state and local programs to ensure the most funding available. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (specifically Excel) is required.
The Patient Account Representative position : May review claims issues and make corrections as needed and rebill; Review explanation of benefits to ascertain that claim processed and paid correctly; Complete adjustment forms if any adjustments need to be made to an account and attach all supporting documentation; Use the state's system (COMPASS) to apply for PA MA; Use PROMISE to check the status and client's MA; Help clients obtain verifications, that they will need to qualify for MA; Do Insurance Benefit verifications; Collect copays and deductibles; other duties as assigned by management.
Schedule : Monday - Friday (hours : daylight)
Location : This is an onsite position
Salary : Starting at $16.00 / hr
