Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool – Days

Location : Albany, NY

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Start Date : 1 / 4 / 26

Shift : Days, 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM

Experience Required : Minimum 2 years ICU experience

EMR : Epic experience required

Weekends : Every other weekend

Holidays : Rotating

Unit Overview :

The Critical Care Float Pool consists of highly skilled RNs who provide coverage across multiple intensive care units. Nurses with Level I trauma center experience tend to do best in this role.

Required Skills & Responsibilities :

Competent and confident in caring for ICU patients across multiple environments :

Neuro / Trauma SICU

MICU

CPS / VICU

CCU

Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)

ICU / PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement

Ability to float between units as patient census demands

Maintain high-level assessment and intervention skills in diverse critical care settings
