ViewRay Systems designs, manufactures, and markets the MRIdian A3i® radiation therapy system to treat cancer patients with the smallest radiation therapy margins available with the highest patient throughput demonstrated for the most complicated cases The system treats by aligning the sharpest radiation therapy beam on the market to diagnostic quality magnetic resonance images (MRIs) of the patient, adapts the treatment plan to the reality of the patient, and then uses the real-time MRIs to control the beam and record real-time doses delivered to the patient.

Job Description

ViewRay Systems is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience designing X-Ray CT Scanners. The candidate will share our passion for conquering cancer and help us support Radiation Therapy systems worldwide.

• \tDesign and develop electrical system / sub-system solutions from concept to production.
• \tIntegrate X-Ray CT components into functional and reliable high performance systems.
• \tDevelop system and component level requirements for electrical components and modules.
• \tPerform analysis and develop testing methods that ensure the safe and effective design and operation of new products.
• \tPerform design and user failure mode and risk analysis for a safe and reliable product.
• \tPerform hands on activities such as prototype assembly, installation, and testing.
• \tFollow guidelines of internal design controls and change controls processes.
• \tPerform schematic design and work with the CAD team on PCB layout.
• \tResponsible for managing design files and system BOM.
• \tProvide technical support to external design and manufacturing partners.
