Shift : 07 : 00 - 19 : 00 (36 or 48 hours guaranteed)

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, where you will provide high-quality care primarily to adult patients. Our facility offers a full range of medical services, and you will work closely with a skilled team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
  • Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate records.
  • Educate patients and families on health management strategies.
  • Participate in departmental and facility-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current Iowa RN license.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult protection.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification is a plus.
  • Pass a 10-panel drug test, including screening for opiates.
  • Background check must be cleared prior to start (includes criminal and child abuse checks).
