Senior Technical Program Manager

About the Job :

LaunchDarkly is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to drive complex cross-functional engineering initiatives across our platform and product organization. You will be instrumental in defining and optimizing processes ensuring effective communication and successfully delivering critical high-impact technical programs that shape the future of our product and business.

Responsibilities :

• Program Leadership : Own and drive the end-to-end execution of large complex technical programs (e.g. core platform migrations security and compliance initiatives new product launches) across multiple engineering and product teams.
• Planning and Scoping : Work closely with Engineering Product and Design leadership to define program scope objectives success metrics and realistic delivery schedules.
• Process Optimization : Implement refine and champion lightweight effective program management best practices and development processes (e.g. agile methodologies release management) to increase engineering efficiency and predictability.
• Risk Management : Proactively identify prioritize and mitigate program risks and dependencies ensuring alignment and clear accountability across all stakeholders.
• Communication : Serve as the central communication hub providing regular clear and concise status updates to executive leadership engineering teams and cross-functional partners.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Facilitate effective decision-making and alignment among diverse teams including Product Management Sales Marketing and Customer Success.
