What this job involves :

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a BPA campus to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building operations.

What your day-to-day will look like :

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, motors, and control systems

Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment, panels, transformers, and emergency systems

Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment (multimeters, signal generators, etc)

Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and equipment

Respond to emergency electrical issues and power outages

Required Qualifications :

Valid electrical license in the state of Washington (LME or similar)

High School Diploma or equivalent required

2+ years of commercial electrical experience

Familiarity with emergency power systems and generators

Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, local codes)

Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications :

EPA certification and other relevant certifications a plus.

WA state 06 license

Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls and systems.

Onsite in Vancouver, WA

Schedule :

Monday - Friday Day shift

Estimated compensation for this position :

59,800.00 - 86,800.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
