Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

70,000.00 - $115,500.00

What Is the Opportunity?

Travelers' Reinsurance Finance team translates raw numbers into actionable insights to tell the story of past financial results and forecast possibilities into the future. The team acts as an independent party to collaborate with business partners and enable them to make informed decisions. As a Sr Financial Consultant, you will prepare and evaluate financial reports and conduct analyses to identify trends and variances. You will leverage your ability to connect with others and take action to achieve customer's needs.

What Will You Do?

• Manage the business partner information that supports reinsurance processing and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, interrogatories, and notes in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Statutory Accounting Principles.
• Develop and present exhibits, results, observations, and recommendations to direct manager, team members and / or cross functional peers.
• Analyze trends and variances in business performance.
• Support your financial and business partners in the creation of analyses to support business strategy.
• Perform system testing and validation of data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
