Job descriptionPersonal cares (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, skin care, etc) Review patient care plan Lifting and transferring Assistance with range of motion & positioning, exercise & ambulation Assistance with dining & nutrition Electronic charting Needs strong understanding of professional boundaries Must be able to lift 50 lbs Good understanding of body mechanics Strong communication skills-written, verbal, listening with attention Good problem solving skills Good time management of self and others Able to function in an electronic medical record Dental Insurance Health Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance Monday to Friday CNA (Required)
JOB SUMMARY :
As a Hospice Aide you will perform personal care activities related to the activities of daily living, under direction of a Case Manager [RN].
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must have reliable vehicle.
- 12 months of caregiving experience required (home care, assisted living / memory care, skilled nursing / nursing home, hospital or hospice),
- Hospice experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Current CPR Certified
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
