TranSource Truck & Equipment Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment along with being the Servicing Dealer for multiple other product lines that support the On Highway Construction and Agriculture Industry.

TranSource Truck & Equipment is currently accepting applications for a parts delivery driver / warehouse person for our Fargo location.

POSITION SUMMARY

Delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership and helps in warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers satellite stores wholesale accounts and vendors while driving in a safe manner at all times. This requires sitting in a vehicle and being able to maneuver in and out of said vehicle.

Checks with parts manager parts counter people or warehouse associates before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.

Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.

Checks invoices to verify if payment is needed for each delivery.

Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipients signature on each delivery entry.

Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts to be processed by the counter personnel.

Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas checking oil keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed.

Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major and / or repairs and maintenance.

Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.

Operate forklift to load / unload product when required.

Assist with shipping / receiving / warehouse responsibilities when not delivering.

Receives freight when it arrives to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.

Maintains inventory accuracy through cycle counts spot checks etc.

Learns and updates multiple computer programs and phone apps to maintain delivery tracking and communication.

Maintains professional appearance.

Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

And other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma / GED; or three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires lifting / carrying up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 130 lbs. occasionally.

Must be able to push / pull a force up to 120 lbs. during the normal course of the workday.

Must be able to climb up and down steps to reach for pull out and carry parts from warehouse shelving.

Requires standing bending stretching stooping crouching reaching and manipulating a computer keyboard; heavy lifting. Requires the use of both hands.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions cold and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
