Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (06 : 15 - 16 : 45)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience

License : Compact license pending OK for submission. Required in hand at time of start.

Certifications : BLS required; ACLS and level 1 trauma experience preferred

Must-Have : Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases and CVOR experience

Job Description :

• The position requires a nurse to take call two times per week and every third weekend.
• Floating to the main OR on the same campus is required if there is no volume in CVOR.
• Weekend requirement includes call shift every third weekend.
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.
• The nurse may be required to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby based on skill sets and census.
• Patient diagnoses include CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, Aortic Dissection, TAVR, and more.
• Unit systems include Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR.
• Nurses are expected to follow specific fatigue policies and complete required modules pre-start and annually.
• Scrubs are provided in blue color.
