PROJECT MANAGER - OCONUS American International Contractors (Special Projects), Inc. (AICI-SP) is currently seeking  Project Manager  candidates to work on  upcoming   secure projects OCONUS.  An  ACTIVE  U.S.

Secret Level Security Clearance  is required for this position.

PRIMARY FUNCTION :

• The Project Manager is responsible for the overall success, safety and timely completion of a Design / Build project, and the performance, morale and welfare of his / her employees.
• This person will plan and manage project design, construction, commissioning and close-out activities and schedules and provide technical consultations to project teams, government agencies and clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Facilitates “internal” team (site, head and regional offices), and “external”; (client and other stakeholders) effective communication and meetings Effectively and timely communicates project information to superiors Resolves and / or escalates issues in a timely fashion Developing lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties Works in coordination with the home office to ensure all required materials and engineering services are delivered on-site in a timely fashion Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and the President KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED :

Possess strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills Must be willing to work overseas International construction industry experiences interacting with various diverse cultures Experience in contract management and construction risk management are required PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS :

Mental Demands :

Some exposure to toxic / caustic chemicals, potential electric shock, significant heights and high noise level, including high-pitched noises.  Some potential exposure to dust, fumes, smoke and airborne particles.   NOTE :
